Enjoy the weekend which no doubt will be lots of outdoorsy stuff weather permittingTired as per usual. Glad it's the weekend !
I reckon you shouldGoing to finish fixing an iPad after dinner. Took me ages to get a badly damaged screen off yesterday. There's still some glass to get off around the edges but it's a slow and careful process as I don't want to damage the LCD and components. Once the glass is removed putting on a new screen and sealing it is plain sailing. Patience is the name of the game. I should charge family for these repairs lol
I've got a technical background @KevinPotts and boy do my family take advantage of this lol. What a talented chap you are Eddie.
I drop mine in the road whilst photographing my garden yesterday for this forum and now have a cracked screen. I could do with you as a neighbour.

Awww, what lovely things to say, Johnny! Thank you.Good Evening, my friends,
I've had an interesting day today, a couple of mood swings, and ate a lot of carbs, I'm afraid to say, mainly sandwiches, some with Marmite and some with fried eggs. I'm just multitasking online, while I'm logged in to www.diabetes.co.uk, I'm also listening to Mr. Blue Sky by ELO on www.youtube.com. I also have the tab for www.diabetes.co.uk/lowcarb up too.
My BG tonight is a nice, healthy 6.2.
Have a lovely evening, you're a fabulous group of people and I'm very fond of you because we have the type 2 diabetes mellitus as a common interest. I've learned so much from you lovely guys and gals, especially debrasue, ikihun, and other fab people.
And thanks so much eddie1968 for mentioning about online tasking. With a bit of experimentation on my Chromebook I'm now able to play cool 1970's direct from www.youtube.com whilst typing this message.
Yours faithfully to a fab bunch of people,
Johnny Baker

Well I had my appointment today.....It was a one stop clinic where you saw the consultant then had a mammogram, a scan And a biopsy then back to the consultant again for results And next steps.
I am very happy to say I have a totally benign lump that has appeared as I have lost so much weight. No action required just another mammogram in 3 years. So great reliëf here!
I do have to say that not only was this a fantastic clinic, to get everything done and get the results the same day but what really made it great were the 6 other Ladies who were part of the clinic. We were all different ages, backgrounds but had this one thing in common. We started off shy And not speaking but slowly over the 4 hours we all opened up And started to chat, first admission was that we had all spent the last week constently checking our respective lumps to check they were still there.....they were!
None of us had had a mammogram before but had heard stories of how it was painful it was it was lovely that THE first one in came out saying "its ok not too bad" And everyone else just followed suit then admitted that actually it was a bit painful but they did not want to upset the others. Over the next few hours we chatted, laughed and supported each other, as each person got their results they left saying "good luck Ladies"
I do not know their names or their outcomes but I am very grateful for their support And comardarie and the whole experience has restored my faith in human nature xx
