Hi Johnny. I'm sorry to hear that things are so challenging for you at the moment, but - as you say - at least this new diagnosis helps you to understand why you have experienced some of the problems. Sending you big hugs xGood Morning, my lovely friends on the www.diabetes.co.uk "Type 2 Life" Forum,
The Tate South Lambeth Public Library near to my flat is open at 9:00 Ante Meridian so I'm able to use the Internet due to my Sky Broadband still being terminated at my home.
My Care Coordinator rang me a few days ago and when I was speaking to her I happened to quote my ADHD susceptibility like I do online. She said I was foolishly mistaken. She said as well as having a bona fide Asperger Syndrome diagnosis, I also, from my Consultant Psychiatrist at the Map Team, have a legitimate diagnosis of Bipolar Affective Disorder, a mental illness with rapid cycling mood swings, flight of ideas, poor monetary sense, delusions of grandeur (when hypomanic), and delusions of persecutory ideation (when in the depression downswing). This explains so much about my monetary vulnerabilities and my struggles to manage my Type II Diabetes Mellitus as well as my difficulties that I experience with letting seemingly untoward "oddball" or "diffident" friends to my home to, as my Care Coordinator, take financial advantage of me.
The Bipolar disorder sufferers are very amicable, friendly but a bit hypersensitive and gullibly naïve, hence my recent "Sky" problem which transpired after I let a very manipulative, financially advantageous friend into my flat to abuse my landline telephone by calling her family in Greece on various mobile telephones. Some of the naivety could be attributed to my Asperger Syndrome too of which I am moderate to severe.
I didn't eat as much as usual yesterday but a something to prevent hypoglycaemias in the form of a Roast Chicken Dinner Ready Meal and a couple of Marmite sandwiches.
My blood glucose readings this morning at approximately 7:30 Ante Meridian after two mugs of coffee with Coffeemate and 2 sugars each and then 5.2 mmol at approximately 8:30 Ante Meridian.
Have a lovely day, my friends. It's a bit cooler here in Stockwell, London than it has been, but I am sure it will warm up soon. There has been light, unclement drizzle but nothing major and the blue of the sky is trying to blow all the rainclouds away making it the start of a lovely August weekend.
Much love and Best Wishes
@autisticwonder1970 (Johnny Baker)

The layout has changed Maureen, I think that's why there were some problems logging on the other day. Have you tried logging on with a larger piece of hardware like a laptop or computer? I don't want you to leave, you're part of the T2L family. It's taking some getting used to on my tablet but I will persist because I value my friends on here so muchIs it my phone or has the lay out changed? It's so tiny I can't see anythink, so if this is how it's gonna be in future then I will have to leave you, won't risk damageing my eyes, struggle enough as it is. Don't understand why the change & so tiny,
I agree it's a shame to leave but i don't have laptop, my daughters was hacked do i won't use it, I have tablet but font use, why spend money to use tablet each month when I have perfectly good smart phone, great pity but my eyes are important to me, see what goes probsbly pop on site now & again, I think it's very inconsiderate to make print do small when they know diabetics suffer with fight problems, hope your well take careThe layout has changed Maureen, I think that's why there were some problems logging on the other day. Maybe the mint in it. Try some hot peppermint tea. You'll probs need sweeteners in it though I sometimes do use sugar (but I know my bgs won't go drastically highI think I have that @eddie1968 . Did specialist test you for that?
I have flare ups then not. Irratic bgs and irratic stomach bloating. Blockages. Sugar free candy rock can help, sometimes.
Thanks @ liam1955. Hope she gets well soon if you hear again do send my love & best wishes for a quick recovery x.Just to let you all know. Have heard from @doolallylady (Karen) - she has been really ill and in hospital, but will be returning soon. She misses everybody and sends her love.
