I haven't been one hundred per cent in the last few days although I have shaken off my urinary tract infection for which I completed the course of antibiotics. I now have a mouthful of very sore, pervasive mouth ulcers which cause me great discomfort, pain even, when eating and masticating my food. A close Christian friend ran me to the King's College Dental Hospital in his motor car and the dentist said, upon examination, there were a lot of bitemarks and very traumatic burns on the insides of my cheeks, from the first part of this observation meant I was biting my cheeks in my sleep and the second part of this evaluation was eating scalding hot food and not giving it sufficient chance to "stand" or to "cool down". I can only put this down to the sensory sensitivity in my Asperger Syndrome, a condition that although does describe some of the nice, caring attributes that people say I have but also causes me immense suffering. The Dentist at the King's College Dental Hospital wrote a letter to my GP describing my predicament with my teeth and gums and made a request to her to refer me for special care dentistry in the form of a full scale assessment and treatment procedure at this hospital.
My fasting blood glucose reading this morning, today, Friday 2nd December, 2016, at 8:33 Ante Meridian was 7.0 Millimoles Per Litres, after drinking a cup of coffee with 1 x 5 ml spoonful of Sainsbury's Rich Roast Coffee Granules, a dash of milk and 3 Sainsbury's Artificial Sweetener tablets.

It's good to hear that the sore throat has finally done one - that must make things a lot more comfortable for you.I'm delighted to report my nasty, miserable sore throat has been battered into omission. A bit congestion but normal for this time of year.
Going out later to pick some protein rolls to freeze. If I can pick up something different, l'll be happy. Little man will be wanting to buy a chocolate santa to bite his head off. Poor santa. lol
Dizziness still hanging about with palpatations and deep breathing. Thank god Mr ickihun helps with little bits.
Luckily little one slows his fast walking down. So I can keep up.
I know one thing my next break away will be on my own. Peace and relaxation only. Too much dashing around for me in Blackpool and meals were bland.
Thanks William will ask when I can manage to see my doc been trying all week with no success it's getting more difficult very few online bookings now days not had any for my doc he's that popular@ickihun & @eldergarth - Don't want to put the 'dampers' on the Glucosamine! When I found out 2 years ago I had Arthritis of the lower spine my GP put me on Glucosamine for 6 months and it had no effect at all. But, Ron before you go out and buy them - ask your GP if you could have them on prescription first. (I got mine on prescription).
And to @Kyambala - what a really sweet reply.
The normal waiting time for our docs is 4 weeks but I can go online at 7am for same day bookings but been nothing for my doc but plenty for the other ones so may have to bite the bullet and see one of the others@eldergarth - Ron, I know. I usually book on line 3 weeks in advance for an appointment. But, I have been lucky on my last 2 visits to see my GP as he actually made them appointments whilst I was seeing him, and he has booked me another for the 14th December.
Be guided by your GP about the Glucosamine, even if he/she won't prescribe them, ask if it is safe for you to take them? Before going out to buy them. William

I'll second that one WilliamIt's disgraceful, people need to be Fined for missed Appointments at GP Surgeries AND at Hospital Appointments too. I reckon £5.00 a time, hit people where it hurts = Money!

Ron took his first step last night of weaning himself of clonazepam . He was going to leave it till weekend but I stepped in. Honestly it was like sleeping next to a human vibrator. Been reading about withdraw symptoms of gabapentin not looking forward to that one bit . Then Co- dydramol.I have to agree with you, William - it didn't do me any good either, when I took it.

That's interesting. My mum has every man and his dog on them. Except me. However if I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis I'd try them for myself. As one size doesn't fit all. Strange how researchers said they could continue taking them as a supplement as causes no harm. I guess because the research might be at a later date be redone? Like some older research it gets reused at a later date.

I have heard a lot of negative responses from people over the years about Glucosamine. But, it might work for some people. William x
