Thanks @tina_marie I have the mother of all headaches and the cold from hell.Sending hugs to you Vicky. Xxx
Cracking joints is my new party trick. Mine are when I'm getting out of bed. Even wrists clicking, hip too.Not a lot today Anne in to much pain since last night went to get up from sofa and there was an almighty crack came from my lower spine .
Pain relief not helping much may have trapped a nerve or something .
Remember Anne this is a family forum so less talk about pink cheeks please
Sorry Vicky not been getting notifications most of my joints do click or crack most days but my spine is the worst and seems to be getting worse .Cracking joints is my new party trick. Mine are when I'm getting out of bed. Even wrists clicking, hip too.
Mind u I think I have an infection again. Might have to mention to nurse today. I don't think antibiotics are getting rid of whatever infection I have. Chest is clear, everytime. Apparently. I hope I haven't an infection in my sacroiliac joint (pelvis). It has never been investigated properly. Painkillers and antibiotics.
Thanks @tina_marie I have the mother of all headaches and the cold from hell.
I wonder if the sweats have caused it. Sweats everytime on tramadol. Side affect. Headaches too. Less pain in walking thou. Just stiff and loads of pressure on pelvis.
Tummy seems to have settled down with diuretic and no codeine. Codeine was blocking me up @Liam1955 . Didn't realise as I increased codeine slowly. More regular but need to manage my life around sleep and hospital appointments. Off today with mr ickihun to have my breathing test done. He has to have a blood test. He wants to hold my hand. (Do you think?) Ha ha
I wonder if my cold will affect spirometry results? I guess it's a science. I'm intrigued as to what the result may be.
Physio said its my back. Lower back. Seeing physio again on thursday morning. I will ask again. Also if any better way to walk as locked up when walking, great painkillers but I'm locked up. I can just feel loads of pressure and no flowing movement. Still a huge affort to walk. Losing weight thou. Lost all of december and january's weight. Back to my november weight. Knocked nuts and cheese on the head. Veg making me vomit and loose tummy. I've never liked them much anyway.@ickihun - Today Vicky when you are seeing the Nurse, you could ask why? there has been no further investigations - such as you being sent for a MRI Scan to confirm that it is actual Sacrolitis that you are suffering from?
Let us know how you get on. Is gp the results going to? I hope nothing sinister. I think if on-going plursy they can drain liquid away.Sorry Vicky not been getting notifications most of my joints do click or crack most days but my spine is the worst and seems to be getting worse .
Have got chest X-ray today to see if pleurisy is back as breathing no better and a real struggle when tired also got pain clinic today will see what doc says when tell him patches aren't working to relief the pain .
Hope you feel better soon Vicky and not suffering to much ((((((hug)))))) .
Thanks Ickihun would I be ok having a coffee with cream before bed to block the dawn phenomenon@gunner10 and @annie-p you could both do with a liver block before bed. Your rise in sleep could be down to the dawn phenomena. Google it and see if that's what's happening to your excellent evening bgs?
I use fish or nuts or cheese to block my rise. Even through the day as mine rise for any reason.
Yup Lambs about. Had call from local farmer this morning to come round and lather upWow! Anna you put us to shame!
I've just been working today, but I was delighted to see catkins in the hedge as well as primroses and snowdrops blooming in the garden this week, and the daffodils close behind, giving a promise of Spring not being far away. I'm looking forward to seeing the TTs next week, too - I've really missed them this week.
Haven't seen any around here yet, but I'm sure it won't be long.Yup Lambs about. Had call from local farmer this morning to come round and lather up
Cream on its own will do it. Coffee at night may keep you awake! Even decaf still has caffeine in.Thanks Ickihun would I be ok having a coffee with cream before bed to block the dawn phenomenon
Was the large black circle below your heart? The heart shows up black.@ickihun @13lizanne @debrasue @Liam1955 @Diamum5972 @autisticwonder1970 hi all have just got back from hospital for chest x-ray and pain clinic got to wait for results to go to gp for x-ray but Tina did go in with me and was told to go behind the screen with the nurse and saw the picture of my x-ray she told me she saw a large black circle on my left lung ? so will have to see what that is .
pain clinic is changing my meds again weening me of the butrans patch still taking the co drydamol but being put on 'amitriptyline' and then if no affect 'dihydrocodeine' and reviewed in 3 months .
have had my bloods results back and my hba1c has gone up to 50 cholesterol has gone up to 6.1 with triglycerides of 4.68 so guess they will be pushing the statins on me again
It was just below my left lung VickyWas the large black circle below your heart? The heart shows up black.
Sorry to hear that Vicky I had asthma when I was young luckily grown out of it although was wondering with my breathing if it was coming back againDiagnosed with Asthma by 2 points. I'm not happy. I've worked for decades to keep active and healthy. I take canagliflozin and get scatica and lower back/pelvic problem and now asthma. Oh and heart disease.
Thanks canagliflozin but that 9lb weight loss and good bgs were not worth it.
I miss my mobility. I miss my swimming.God knows what the angiogram will highlight.
What more is going to be thrown at me?!
I just started a new thread in General Chat - The Power of Positivity, to give us all a bit of respite from the tough times. I'd love to see some of your posts! Hugs xxHaven't seen any around here yet, but I'm sure it won't be long.
It's probably best to leave interpreting the X-rays to the professionals, Ron - even the radiographers don't make any assumptions from them without access to the patient's full records. Big hugs xxxIt was just below my left lung Vicky
