Type 2 Life

My endoscopy was clear minus gullet inflammation (GERD).
On top of all this he's in alot of pain with his shoulders and arms . Drs still haven't done a follow up after Ron's ultra scan. Plus yesterday while we were at the drs sciatica hit me again. Have hardly slept , All day I've been sat on Ron's wheelchair cushion. It's so comfy.

The damp cooler weather makes my scatica worse too. Even on memory foam. If I'm on my side but lying on my good side if makes my scatica excructiating?
I'm glad you've found a more comfortable position too. It's like heaven when no shooting pains or dull ache pains. I'm thinking pregabalin has a harder job lately too. Pains in big toe off scatica and baby toe numb from diabetes. It's behind my thigh where it hurts me the most. I rub my muscles as they aren't warm enough. Bed is the worst place for pain if I don't manage pain killers well.
I dream of the lie in I was just starting to get when kids were off.
I slept through the new 6am alarm but luckily 11yr old had woken only 40mins later. So I just skipped the ME time. Out later for a weigh-in at gps.. My weight has varied this week but no added weight.

Enjoying cooler weather but still haven't got bedding just right yet. Too hot through night if winter quilt. So threw it off last night and left a throw over which seemed to have done the trick.

The same thing has happened today as happened last time Ron was on antibiotics. He got up had breakfast , took his meds . Then by 9.30 he was back in bed , didn't get up till 3.30pm. He's had tea gone back to bed after taking evening meds at 7. Ron says he thinks the flu like symptoms he has are caused by M.E. He can't get warm. All I'm waiting for now is diarrhoea and nausea to start.

He definitely has a bug on top of his conditions. I couldn't get warm at 2pm today so I took myself to bed. Slept for just under 2hrs. I'm up with 5yr old he cannot sleep due to earache. Calpol administered so waiting for it to kick in.
Loads of nasty bugs going around, at mo.

Picked up blood results from last month.

Saying I need a retest on my hormones for prolactin being too high and my oxygen in red blood cells is just a fraction low. (iron deficiency again)
No infection.
I wouldn't be surprised if my pituitary gland is broken. As still no weight loss other than 2.5lb loss in 2wks. I will show endo for his opinion on tuesday. Thank god I have someone in the knowledge I can ask.
No menopause so high prolactin is cause of missed periods as all other hormone levels are good.

I wonder if high prolactin is causing a reaction with metformin, as I still cannot get it to not give me stomach pains?

@tina_marie does Ron get thrush from antibiotics?
I never have but as you know sugar in my urine aggregates it in me, mostly.

I wonder if I'll have to have blood test out of my forearm again on Tuesday? For pituitary gland check?
My weight is all over and not from menopause. Sweating alot too but not off bgs high or menopause.
I'm a walking hormone defect.
PCOS looks cured though. Still on no metformin.

Not that I'm aware of .

I was half expecting the Dr to order a chest x ray for him , but no. I mean he can't keep having antibiotics if we don't know what's wrong with him in the first place.

I hear antibiotics can cause problems to others.
So is Ron getting inflammed by his antibiotics?
I wish they would blood test him more.
Haven't a clue . Ron keeps coughing because he says that it feels something is laying on his chest but he can't dislodge it as he hasn't enough puff .

good morning, my lovely friends,

this morning my carer came and gave me my morning tablets, but i forgot to take my lixisenatide 20mcg glucagon-like peptide subcutaneous injection for my weight control, appetite and blood glucose level control.

very early this morning, between 5 and 6 i ate a cheesy deep-pan pepperoni pizza.

my blood glucose level at 10:46 am this morning was 7.6.

max hasn't rung my intercom at all this week since i arrived home from loughborough junction on monday.

my 24-hour-care supported housing exploratory assessment for suitability is this coming tuesday 18th september 2018 in the morning in my council flat in stockwell.

i'm so sorry to hear about your health concerns, @ickihun, i'm praying for you a lot and want you to be well and healthy because i care about you like crazy. i care about mr.ickihun, too, plus your two beautiful children.

prayers ongoing for ron and tina-marie, too, for the health problems and chronic pain ron is going through. i feel for you both.

Good Morning, my good friends on the Type 2 Life Thread of the http://www.diabetes.co.uk Forum at 6:17 Ante Meridian (British Summer Time) on Sunday 16th September Anno Domini),

I'm posting to inform you that I'm at my friends' Lilian and her vulnerable mental health service user's bungalow this weekend and came yesterday (Saturday 15th September 2018 Anno Domini) and am going back home tomorrow morning. Lilian lives in Brixton.

Yesterday, I ate, (which Lilian left for Gary and I) for breakfast 2 slices of scrambled egg on toast, lunch 1 Hot Dog Sausage in a Hot Dog Bun and for my Tea 1 Cheeseburger and 1 small portion (Low Carb) chips with tomato sauce.

This morning, now, I took my morning prescribed dossett box medication of 1 Solifenacin + Tamsulosin Hydrochloride (6mg/400mcg) tablet, 1 Ramipril 10mg Capsule, 1 Amlodipine 10mg tablet, 1 Metformin Hydrocloride 500mg tablet and 1 Tegretol (Carbamazepine) 200mg tablet plus my Lixisenatide 20mcg Glucagon-Like Peptide subcutaneous injection and my blood glucose level (fasting) was 7.4 Millimoles Per Litre.

Lots Of Love to you in fond friendship with my sincere kind regards,

@JohnnyBaker87, a Sufferer of Moderate To Severe Asperger Syndrome, Adult ADHD, Mild Dyscalculia and Insulin-Resistant Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus xXx.

I'm seeing my endo tomorrow, @JohnnyBaker87 so we should both have some news.
I'm holding my crossed fingers tight for you.
I need you in a more positive environment.

How is Ron?
Morning. Ron's alot better thanks . He finished the antibiotics yesterday. No unpleasant side effects yet . Still struggling with pain though.

I think I might have missed out on the croydon 24-hour-care supported housing flat, @ickihun, my friend. My care coordinator says it is no longer open for assessment. My care coordinator is going to be busy in the next few days contacting other supported housing establishments. Tomorrow's meeting isn't taking place now.

Oh no!
What?
They shouldn't do that. Mind u maybe next offer don't advertise area on here. You need the anonymity hun.

t had a super cheesy pepperoni deep-pan sainsbury's pizza this morning. blood glucose level afterwards was 13.8. i found out what happened with my 24-hour care supported housing flat. rachel and janine pulled out at the last minute. my care coordinator is just as disappointed as i was. she's contacting tons of assisted living projects for me as we speak. i'm high-risk and high-priority here where i'm living now.

I see Coca Cola are considering putting non psychoactive cannabis in some of their drinks good idea I think.
