Hi all,
Over Christmas I was diagnosed with type 2 (hba1c 57 which over 3 weeks went down to 55) I saw a diabetic nurse who told me to just eat healthy & exercise which I have been doing, my only problem is that I've been having a few 'funny turns' usually after I've worked 6am-2pm I feel very sick & dizzy despite eating at 12, could this be due to my blood sugars? She's told me I don't need to test :/ I'm also suffering with a viral throat infection & wondered if this affects anyone's diabetes, thanks for reading!

I've been following the low carb & low gi & had been feeling a lot better, I stick to soy & linseed bread, porridge & the occasional portion of noodles, I don't eat these every day, she said to just eat healthy & exercise & that if I wanted I could eat carbs but not a lot, I know now I should have asked more questions but being new to it I didn't realise, also I've had the dizziness & feeling sick for around 3 weeks before the virus.
still unsure of what to do
