Where do you get the maple syrup, Rachox, please? Or do you make it? I miss maple syrup but am a bit anxious about reintroducing something sweet to my diet - at the moment tasting a cooked carrot is sweet! But I do miss maple syrup.At 7g of carbs in a teaspoon of honey, I prefer to stick to sugar free (so carb free) maple syrup

My new doctor says that a level around 12 is what he would be happy with, at least until next hba1c. My meds have been changed and he wants to progress slowly so as not to create hypos. Not a level I am happy with but have never felt so well since coming off of metformin (15years)A question on levels after meal. Colleague said a reading under 10 2 hours after a meal was OK. I disagreed. Opinions?
