Thanks. Keeping BG levels in check is a daily challenge, but well worth the effort and, given time, catering for diabetes does get easier.I'm sorry, with the variety in your dishes, I didn't actually realise. They still sound lovely, mind.

L: Red wine vinegar (1 tbsp) in a pint of water
* Hearty vegetable soup
* Easy lentil bolognese with brown rice
* Apple. Banana
D: Apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp) in a pint of water
* Kale, pepper, cucumber & tomato salad topped with spring onion, pickled onion and capers. And dressed with nooch and ground flaxseed, black pepper & nigella seed.
* Sticky chilli tempeh with brown rice
* Mix nuts. Blueberries, cherries & grapes. Satsuma
Evening all
Yesterday:
B: Two poached eggs and scallops with flat-leaf parsley, asparagus spears smothered with butter, all seasoned with a good grinding of black pepper.
Water to swallow tablet.
Espresso.
L: Aperitif: dry white wine
Tuna steaks rolled in finely chopped celery and thyme, baked with red and yellow sweet peppers and mushrooms, moistened with double cream and topped with extra mature Cheddar cheese.
Steamed French beans with a knob of butter.
Water to drink.
Skipped pud.
Four squares, Montezuma's Absolute Black 100% chocolate.
S: Tea with a dash of milk (gave me something hot to hold while OH tucked into refreshments, none of which were diabetic-friendly).
D: Seafood salad made with king prawns and brown shrimps, avocado, cucumber, baby plum tomatoes, mint, salad onions and Kalamata olives with home-made aioli for dipping and topped with roasted macadamia nuts.
Water to swallow tablets.
