God wiseowl_123 wish I could eat some of those carbs my readings would be off the scale. But you are doing well,I think it's because I've been 17 years type2 diabetic that I cannot eat carbs now but I'm not going hungry with the veg.to fill me up Keep doing well good luck to you.

Made low carb scones. 2 cups almond flour. Half cup fine coconut. 1 Tbsp xylotol and 1tbps baking powder. Pinch salt. 3 oz cold butter and 3rd cup of full fat milk. 2 eggs. Mix all dry ingredients then rub in butter. Beat eggs with milk and gently add to dry mix. Do not over mix. Spoon 8 to 10 spoons onto creased baking tray. Brush with a little milk. Bake 180 c for 15 to 20 mins. Approx 3 to 4 carbs each. Quite nice when you fancy something for desert.

.One hour brisk walking with dogs in morning.Do you think I'm having more fats than I should weight not shifting so well, about 6 lb in 5 weeks.

The problem is, Granny, that what is too little/enough/too much for one person can be quite the opposite for another. Your 6 lbs in 5 weeks is nice gentle loss, and there are advantages to that, in terms of how our skin reacts.

I didn't have masses of weight to trim off, but it happened quickly for me. I was only concentrating on getting my bloods right, and the love handles, and more disappeared FAST. I appreciate how annoying that might be for you, but it's how it was. The downside is, I am left with loose skin on my arms and my previously noticeable bosom have gone. Losing more slowly may have helped me. Of course, that's only a theory, as I can't change it now.

If you want to try to accelerate your loss you could just try trimming back your fats a bit. The thing about fats is that a small amount can make a real difference to some folks, so don't go too mad paring back or your end up hungry and really not getting enough nutrition.

Good luck with it all.

I've got to try those with some raspberries microwaved in to a sort of jam and whipped double cream. Thanks for the suggestion.
