Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Good man!! We like to her you're being well looked after.. And your numbers are really solid so congratulations

No apologies necessary, we are your sponge. Good luck with you management!! We're here for the bad and the good!! Roll on the good

It was 9.4 this morning, after not eating since 6pm last night. I think this infection/abcess is pushing it up. Hopefully , once the ab's kick in later, it will come down.

any ideas on how to keep bs down during infections please?

Was 5.7 this morning. Wife retired yesterday and the girls in the office gave her a party cake selection for too much for her to eat on her own so was duty bound to help her out.

So with that and some rice with my chicken balti (home made) was at over 8 mmol at bed time so 5.7 seems not too bad at all.

Same here mate.

Got to get a chest xrays done next week ready for the specialist to have a look at, but I have a feeling in my water there will be a CT scan needed as well.

Good luck Tipetoo, hope all goes well during you lung specialist appointment. He will be able to confirm if you indeed have COPD. My GP misdiagnosed me and a visit to the specialist confirmed I did not have COPD after going through a series of tests. Allergy of dust mite was the culprit.

If low carb not enough then a temporary increase in meds?
What does your care team say?
Like @Pipp has mentioned. Only your team can advise on med changes. Not us.

That is helpful as I thought dust is aggregating me. Haven't been well enough to do my normal jobs at home and dusting done less now.
