See my thread on Zero coke and a wee tipple. Consuming a moderate amount of sugar free alcohol in the evening (dry white wine/ a bloody mary or two) works wonders on the morning BG!

Mine does.
Your bgs will be more settled too once consultant does his bit.
As you know all components are the best solution but not always in the equation, all of the time.
I find my consultant a huge help. I couldn't do this without him. Thank god for the nhs eh?

Thinks I am insulin resistant
Can't have a pump because I'm type 2
Upped novorapid with food
Bloods to be done and see him on 2 months
Did question original diagnosis I am convinced I am not type 2

7.2 this morning. I've been above 7 for the last 3 days, though I have avoided beer. It's difficult to limit carbs here.
I will have to get back on track when I get home next week.
