Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

6 this morning for me, apart from the shoulder and arm keeping me up all night again my dog Charlie [ a cocker spanial died yesterday he was 15yrs and a half]

Morning All

5.7 for me today, seem to have missed posting yesterday when it was 6.2.

I seem to be recovering slowly from the highs caused by my nose bleed problem, but that's almost a fortnight ago now.

Had a bit of normal chocolate and some rice with lamb biryni out of microwave. I don't know why. Maybe an experiment or denial. Or just due for food shopping. Likely all 3.
Fbg 8.9. That will teach me.
I guess I'm still diabetic even on insulin.
Having hba1c done today because nurse couldnt do it on wednesday.
I've had cake, chocolate and now rice in this test, oh and a sausage roll at funeral.
God knows what my average will be???

Now at bedtime I have a small piece of brie and some raspberries (6) with a tsp of philly full fat cheese. My readings have been far lower each morning since. Will probably rise in the morning after I've said that!

8.1 at 6am I had malt whisky cream sauce with a small ostrich steak for tea last night (homemade sauce) not sure if it was that which has given me the spike, or because I had a very small supper and woke up hungry. But see my quote above - I was right!
