Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Morning all from sunny hot portugal after an extensive and fairly large dinner yesterday...my am fasting is 5.2 so quiet pleased .....

Morning all. 4.7 this damp morning. After 4.4 at bedtime. Would that be a minor liver dump? Didn't eat a lot yesterday but had a slice of walnut & fig wholemeal bread at lunch time. Slapped wrist for me!!!
 
8.7 at 09.45hrs (forgot to check when I got up) after a short walk to the Dr's to get signed off for another 2 wks. This no exercise isn't agreeing with my BS

Sounds like a variant on your meter. We all have them unfortunately. A 0.3 variant sounds not bad. You have a good meter.

Thanks @ickihun , I have only just started testing before bedding down for the night and it has happened on two out of the three occasions so wasn't sure what to expect. The meter is a Contour Next USB.
