Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

7.1 at 08.30 this morning - 6.1 before bed last night - for myself I am trying to be happy with any reading that is less than 8.0.
Trying to be more positive as the negative outlook is likely to make my numbers worse! But still hoping at some point to get a reading down in the mid 5's........... Got to have a goal
