Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Another 5.8 today! More white wine last night have been avoiding it as thought sugar was too high but a glass (ok two glasses!) doesn't seem to affect me!

It's probably due to your pancreas and your liver dumping glucagon and glucose into your bloodstream to help you fight the infection. Hugs.
 
Left hand 5.3 right hand 4.9 take your pick since I had the Stent put in have had different readings on left and right hand sides this applies to Blood Pressure also .
 
Good Morning! I fasted till 7pm again yesterday. Woke at 0330 and tested, and was 5.1.
 
4.7 this morning.

Had an eye watering 9.0 reading an hour after some lovely Tapas last night, highest reading I have had since the early days after diagnosis.

4.6 @ 07:30 (Contour XT), 5.2 @ 07:30 (Wavesense Jazz) - I'm going to extend my no Metformin test as I have used the Contour XT for over a year
 
Back from holidays, and measured 5.2 today. Despite some serious overeating I did not gain too much weight
