Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Now I know why fbgs were so high - been stuck in bed for 2 days with a rotten cough.

Mon 1/2 9.4
Tues 2/2 9.1
Weds 3/2 6.5
Today 6.8

Still feel yuk but much improvement

@Stallen are you lchf dieting? As I find the same. Shaking like a hypo whilst walking. Maybe the carbs in diet are better at suppling smooth energy for exercise. Our body has to work harder to change protein into energy. Whey protein supplements also give hypers. Protein might only be good for muscle repair not energy?
Try and have some of your carb allowance just before exercise?

I've been low carb ing since Nov last year, 90% of the time I'm fine lately it's just really been between 3-4pm and the odd DP in the morning. I noticed the need to eat before exercise, but yesterday I only had a small lunch, so I know I can put it down to not having consumed enough before a long walk. I'll throw in a bag of Brazil nuts in my rucksack and munch a few halfway through the walk to snack on.
