5.3 today, after a naughty evening that included sausage rolls!

We always feel better to start the day if our BG isn't above the maximum. I had been put on the insulin 10 units for the evening only. My BG dropped down from 10 mmol / L to 3.2 mmol/ L ( too low )felt very tired if it's gone below 4mmol / L
My life style it's quit active :blood test before swimming, it must be on 12 mmol / L to swim for 64 laps.
I want to stop taking metfornmin but I don't know how.

Hi, newly t2 only 3 days ago. So, I thought I'd change from white to wholemeal bread. This morning was 8.5, have had toast, salad sandwich, banana sandwich and a couple of apples. Tonight 11.3!!!!!!!! Taking metformin. Why has my blood sugar gone up? I'm new to this......HELP!!!!!
