Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.8 today. Not great, but I'm doing a four day fast and that usually does a good job in bringing my FBS down. I'd really like to be in the 4s again.

Please forgive my complete ignorance here (if that is the case), but I thought that I had read somewhere that 'we' were excluded from donating blood? Or have I completely mis read this and you were giving blood in a different context?

Yep I continue to be ignorant and uninformed .... Cancel my last!!!

Though I have to say the note on this site regarding blood donation does present the ability to donate blood very negatively I thought???
