Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Fbg 5.9 this morning but needed insulin after extra carbs for dinner.
No breakfast yet. It has been levelling off in the 8s without insulin but extra carbs taking it out of my comfort zone.
150g carbs but a treat yesterday.

Will look at the low carb diet, though I can't see what other carbs I can cut out. I'm up for anything to get the levels down. Why isn't there a simple action? o_O Paul.

There is - cutting carbs out lol!

Principles are undeniable - don't eat anything that raises your bg level.

My mother became ill in March and died of a brain tumour end of May. I had a breast cancer scare again, I need two operations and I have been tested for allergies, some of which require an epi pen and I'm having counselling for an ongoing issue. Not a good year for me so far. I'm hoping the year will get better ;).

Hang in there. Life loves a curve ball and you've had more than your fair share. Let's hope things pick up and you get through it all very soon xxx

11.7 this morning, makes a change from the 12's - going the right way I hope :playful:. Hope you've all had a good day :).

Go go go :)
Tomorrow will be better again xxx
Big bear hugs!!!

4.8 at 5:15 am :)

Surprisingly good reading with lower lantus dose actually. Tho yes, went to bed with nice low BGL.

Dinner is at earlier times these days to give time for my body to "proceed" sugar. Plus a tiny exercise on the t-mill before bed. Getting some sweat, followed by relaxing hot bath..

Seems to work out..

Have a wonderful day everyone
