Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

6.0 Highest for a few weeks so need to be careful. Still experimenting with how to eat more now I don't need to lose any more weight.

When I was on my domestic science A Level course (only lad in the class ). I was taught that the word diet is misused in society. Diet is what you eat - so everyone who eats is on a diet and if you don't eat you're fasting. Really, the word diet should be qualified, for example "Low fat diet," "Restricted carbohydrate diet," etc

5.3 mmol / L Blood Glucose
1.1 mmol / L Ketones
On waking this morning.

3.6 mmol / L Blood Glucose
1.0 mmol / L Ketones
At bed time.

Sleep was after midnight.
I'm currently intermittent fasting using Bulletproof coffee and then low carb backloading in the evening. Will blog my records when I get chance.
 
8.9 this morning had porridge for supper and some nuts .....

Fasting 6.7 not sure on that one - will explain and 0.7 ketones.

Chuffing disaster. Big difference between being chuffed and chuffing perhaps polar opposites. So just about to test when little ted ask where my big one was (stop it Nom! ). It's broken I says, various other questions.....get to the point. It's very accurate (didn't go into the accepted range variations - he's only 4) but I dropped it on the floor and it no longer works.

To which little ted drops the nexus mini on the floor. So display is all over the place. Hence 6.7 (maybe) but seriously doubt because of ff.
 

Next up on this tread perhaps, a chuffometer ?
