had a lie in today:p tested at 10.30am and was 9.2 .... shock, horror !!!:(:(
re-washed hands and re-tested and was actually 5.2 ..... all smiles now !!!!:D:rolleyes:

5.8 this morning, which if I remember correctly is up on what it used to be when my diabetes was under control. I expected this to be honest.

5.1 this morning - spent the weekend in London watching the Women's FA cup final on Saturday (which, as a Chelsea fan, was brilliant) and the community shield yesterday (which, as a Chelsea fan, wasn't). Ate a lot of food I wouldn't normally touch (burgers, etc) but countered it by walking a total of 18 miles over the 2 days :)

Forgive me people for I have sinned.

Deliberately and maliciously sinned.

Like British pub earlier I was also a bit pleasantly surprised by my levels so last night I decided, purely in the interests of research you understand, to follow several gin and tonics with a pizza, some rather rough house white wine, ice cream and an Irish coffee, we tend to eat late when out here so it was around 22.00 hrs.

BG at midnight was a rather worrying 9.0 - perhaps still surprisingly low, and this morning I was punished with a 5.9.

I won't be trying that again this week. ......

5.3 this morning :-D despite a cheat day yesterday including a whole pizza!

My first cheat day in 4 months, am on holiday and it was my Mother's birthday. 1 hour after pizza BG was 6.3 then I went for a 2 mile walk and my 2 hour BG was 4.9. Great result, pleased to know I can cope with rare cheats :-)

I'm happy to report a 10.3! sounds awful doesn't it? But this is down from 16+ 3 weeks ago when I started taking it seriously again and getting back on the wagon where I still am.
