7.5 so back to normal for me this morning.

Spent over half an hour lying in bed listening to the thunderstorm before the alarm went off.

Very bad for me. No idea why unless it was the heat.

Went to bed on 6.8
Got up on 6.2

Average for both is 5.6.
Not been in the 6's in the morning for a long time. At least it dropped 0.6 over night

Also 6.2, the weather is still a good excuse candidate. I didn't test at bedtime but I was 5.3 before dinner and only 5.8 after 2 hours, which I think is my lowest +2 - that included avocado vinaigrette, chicken satay, salad, berries and cream, a glass of red wine and a piece of 85% chocolate. Odd this game.

I was higher when I went to bed than I was at +2 after my meal, with only water in between. That has never happened before.

Excellent +2 for you, Rod.

4.1 :) having mostly fatty fish, eggs and veg keep my sugars down! Dairy, pork and beef and gluten are no-no's. And I've lost weight too, bmi now at 23.8 :) yay!

4.2 for me today, so in range.

Yesterday's cricket was fun, but not great cricket. The locals acquiesced, all out, leaving the visitors, including a wonderfully free hitting Chris Gayle a relaxing stroll to victory in under 15 overs. Oh well, the Street food was good. No lobster on offer yesterday. It's just back in season, after the mating period of May and June, when it's illegal to catch or even sell (frozen) in restaurants, so,I had a huge chicken kebab. Yumm.

All-in-all, I probably didn't consume enough calories yesterday, so must tackle the spicy guacamole in the fridge with some gusty today.

I haven't been under 6.2 all day either today. In fact I've been in the 7's since after lunch because I started on 6.2 before I ate, and that is way above my average pre-meal of low 5's. I am about to go for a walk, so will see what I am before evening meal. We haven't had the thunder here yet, not even a drop of rain, but it is so hot and muggy. I hope this is the reason .... roll on winter LOL. (Don't really mean that). Have a good day and night tomorrow, and be good!

I got to 5.7 at 1pm, had small corned beef salad and 6 strawberries about 1.30, walked home- 20-25 mins at 2.30 and at 3.15 was 6.3. Be good?? Do you mean stay lchf....or something else????! Hope to have a lovely time with my first choice of escort....may just have a little treat though , be inteteresting to see what my levels are.....

Diagnosed prediabetic Easter 2014. Just left to get on with it, no guidance or help from GP. Every day I'm learning something new.

I had a bad day yesterday with my blood sugars. I couldn't get out of the 6's and 7's from morning till night. Very unusual and can only blame the heat. :bigtears:

Went to bed on 6.2
Got up on 5.8. Still higher than average but going down!

Lazy git time today, didn't get up until after 11, but was 5.7 so liver might be getting the message!

5.8 this morning. 4 days in a row I'm under 6. I thought for sure I was going to be a lot higher. My wife came home with a tub of fresh cherries, and I ate about a dozen (and this is with self control) while watching late night tv. Got my coffee going right now, and the bacon and eggs are having a love fest in the pan. :-)
