I didn`t take mine. I am dog sitting my daughters two dogs and a litter of three puppies. Plus I am babysitting two of my grand children. I would reckon, if stress makes it go up, mine would be 4723462372823.7432677427
we can still post Clay :thumbup:claymic said:i wont be posting mine for a bit....it cant compare with the excellent results posted
Jak's said:I broke the 7 barrier today with a 6.9 which is down from 8.4 in two months since being diagnosed. Hope to get it to the levels that are acceptable all round so that I dont need to medicate yet.

it moves between 4.1 and 5.4 i really dont know why?

Well if the rest of your days readings are doing ok and it turns into a one off thing I wouldn't be worried. It could have been caused by any number of things, not enough blood in the sample, dodgy strip, something on your finger. You can get really high readings if you are coming down with something but you'd expect more than one to be high.
I have real problems extracting enough blood for that first out of bed reading have no idea why.
No sugar in that hot milky drink I hope! Do a cup of Cadburys Highlights myself most nights doesn't touch my BG's at all.
Take care. If you keep seeing things really high I'd talk to your nurse or doctor next week though.
