Morning all! Well done Dibbles!

6.2 this morning. Saw the doctor today and having my first HbA1c blood test Monday since diagnosis. Also having the 24hr urine test. I don't think I am going to be good at peeing such a large bottle even with the funnel. My husband said I should do it Sunday (so I can take it in when I go for the blood test on Monday), he said that way he could help me..........um, my aim better be good! And, no there is no 'strange perversion going on here', just a very caring man.
The size of that bottle is intimidating isn't it. You could use it to refuel your car.

I did the test for the first time last year and I was half in a panic because I thought I was supposed to fill the whole bottle up in a day.:-)

Worst thing about it is the smell gets progressively worse every time you open the bottle up!

A very nice 5,2 count this morning.

It's cold out there and I have to find the motivation to get out of bed for my 8:00 am Saturday morning game/lesson of tennis.

When I chose this time it was summer and pleasantly cool at this time plus getting it out of the way early still allowed time for us to travel to our beach house for the weekend.

Does not seem like such a good choice now:-(

Enjoy your weekends everybody

About to ride my bike to the tennis club so decided to test again as my waking up count was about two hours ago. Now 85mg/dl or 4,7 mmol.

I need to have a quick snack before exercise.

5.6 this morning, I kind of expected a higher reading after a very good night last night, or was that a very bad night? Still I know the cause and there now will not be another bridge night until January, so going a little off the rails shouldn't matter if I get right back on track afterwards.

5.5 - bedtime
6.6 - fasting

This morning I shall mostly be planking, squatting and star jumping......:bigtears:

I think most of us would take 5,6 after any kind of night,

Sounds like a good time was had.

Back up to 5,1 after my tennis game and a bike ride of about 8km,

Happy with that,

Temperature warmed up considerably by the end of the game and is now about 15 degrees centigrade.

Glad I made the effort now!

Pavlos

PS must remember to get some gloves for riding the bike!

Be easier to pee in a plastic jug then transfer it to 24 hr collection ???

;)5.3 this morning - went to bed on 4.7 with my virtually carb free hot chocolate and a cheese portion
