Caught doing 87 mph by a flipping mobile camera help by a cop standing in the central reservation of a dual carriageway. Idiot!

Not a safe place to stand for any reason I would have thought. Imagine if someone saw him, braked suddenly and was then rear-ended with the resulting mess heading towards him at 70mph?

Very, very well done John.

Your approach has always been calm and balanced. A few of us could do with taking a leaf from your book.

Onwards and level?

A lovely 3.6. for me this morning. This tub seems to "allow" 3s, although it could just be a sign my off colour status is fading (I hope!).

Poor MrB is suffering far more badly from this tummy thing than I did, so we're having a slightly more chill axed time than usual for another few days. Yesterday, I sat out on the deck for a hour or so and drifted away into a lovely dose. There's no hiding it, when you look at my nose. Rudolph has competition!

Hey ho. Life could be so much worse.

Play nicely boys and girls.

Onward and level would do me nicely, but as we know life is never that easy.

But my glass is always (mostly) half full, time will tell but until then Hurray.

Wear what you're wearing in your avatar pic Totty, and you'll be just fine

I wouldn't be holding out much hope for a speed awareness course though..........

The current tub seems marginally better than the previous one though it still throws a wobbly first thing , esp if my meter is cold. Got some more on dispatch so hoping they are different lot. Otherwise they are going back. Glad you are feeling better - I always find I improve more quickly if I've shared it with someone else.

grrr don't anyone go to boots to have their prescription filled out, not unless you have a couple hrs to kill. Had to pick up my mums antibiotics on saturday, after waiting in a queue for 30 minutes (honestly) I then had to wait for the pharmacist to finish with a consultation so that she could sign off the prescription. when I got them back to my mums we found she was 6 tablets short. so this morning off I trundled again, (if anyone knows the potteries they will understand when I say I hate going to Hanley) only to wait in another long queue this time for 40 minutes (yes, I was timing it) when I eventually got to the desk I was told I would have to wait until the pharmacist came back in around 20 minutes. Stomped off to have a coffee and a moan with my uncle, returned 30 minutes later to wait another 20 minutes in another queue, this time got the pharmacist who just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know how that happened as it wasn't him on duty on saturday. no apology, nothing. My little chemist across the road, which gets inundated at times, is far more efficient than the very large Boots store in Hanley. I never wait more than 5 or 10 minutes at their busiest. Only went to that Boots because we had taken mum to the walk in centre which was just down the road. next time I will go to the local one. by the way uncle not only bought me a coffee but a plate of sausage and chips, 2hrs later bs 8.1, will I never learn?????
OK moan over now

He can't really refuse in these days of patient choice.

Well done you!!!! at the end of the day you have made the necessary changes to your lifestyle to enable those fabulous results, people on here can give all the benefit of their experience and knowledge but only you can follow it, so give yourself a huge pat on the back, you deserve it

I think you deserved the sausage and chips, and at 8.1 it wasn't the end of the world!

4.7 this morning and 4.7 just now at 5.15 pm...such symmetry....hope you are all doing well...been off air a bit recently as I have been in cruise mode with my monitoring.

Thats why i try to support the independents. Its the same at tesco and sainsbury where they have squeezed some of the independents out of business..

Nice one JD. Congratulations on yoir fine effort. You should be very PROUD of your efforts and result. Goes to show with the right application and support network the HUGE progress one can make.

No but we are going for a meal tonight with my daughter, its her birthday so I shudder to think what it will be in the morning. I am going with the intention of having a steak with salad, what happens when I get there under the bad influence of my daughter and her husband is another matter, I think I will have to rely on my sensible 6yr old grandaughter to keep on the straight and narrow

What do you think your Codefree strips are doing wrong? Do they all read higher than you expected, or are they inconsistent?

Higher! My most recent tub was fine, after two horrible tubs.

Now I have opened a new tub and once again I am getting stupidly high readings again, despite no new food or change in lifestyle (eg exercise etc)

How are your readings now on the new tub BT
@aylalke is on 44 I think from previous post
