Bedtime - 5.9
Fasting - 7.4 :bigtears:

Busy day today with another road trip. This time meeting clients at magnificent Cliveden House, Berkshire, one of my favourite venues, where the staff greet me by my Christian name and I always feel very special! Then on to Guildford to meet second set of clients. Lunch will be on the hoof so I shall have my trusty Tupperware for company..

Have a good day everyone. Toodle pip!

Yep, lovely house named it after me ::)) safe driving poshtotty
4.7 am fasting

6.8 not bad had a rough night cause of stupid chest:-( its getting annoying now. Anyone got some descent lungs.

A nice 5.1 this morning which is lower than recent mornings, but then I have a day off today so woke naturally rather than being startled awake by the alarm. Also, a surprisingly low 3.6 when I went to bed last night may also help explain this morning's reading.

3.6 ? That is a VERY low reading......

5.2 before bed
7.2 fasting.... I think i must be eating or exercising in my sleep. Might have to tie myself down tonight lol

Fingers crossed for your results @kimbo1962

4.7 this morning, very very very happy :D

Happy Friday all :)

95 mg/dl or 5.28 mmoles/l , upward trend continues.

Just made a measurement for 1 hour after first bite and got 97 mg/dl ie 5.39 mmoles/l, shall do another test for the 2 hours after.
After 2 hours 100 mg/dl or 5.55 mmoles/l
After 3 hours. 98 mg/dl or 5.44 mmoles/l.

I seem to be very insulin resistant, please correct me if I am wrong.

I now feel better after having read this,http://chriskresser.com/when-your-“normal”-blood-sugar-isn’t-normal-part-2

and this , http://high-fat-nutrition.blogspot.co.il/2007/10/physiological-insulin-resistance.html
Very interesting, thank you for posting this @Pasha . I also experience higher fasting than I would like, but I do also get some good results too. For example, this mornings 4.7. So when we are low carbing and still get a low result, we must be doing exceptionally well on the insulin resistance front? Obviously this must be the win win situation that we are striving for but having read the articles, that will help me to feel less disappointed when I get higher numbers -very interesting, I did not know that about low carbing and insulin resistance, thanks!

I would also eventually like to have the courage to occasionally try the carb loading he talks about, but I'll have to work my way up to that, Christmas is far enough away for now I think :hilarious:

Crossing everything here too Kezzer!! Think I will be giving it sone on my exercise bike this morning to keep occupied until the time I can ring:eek:

5.8 fasting, within range but the higher end, bed was 5.6- both batch 44 so could be lower in truth but didn't re-test. Ordered new strips yesterday and added a request not to send 44, I hadn't complained to them but thought a comment may flag up my dislike!!
Hoping those results will be available to me later this morning ;)
