Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

and 8.6 this morning - but it is still the middle of the night for me really!

10.3 this morning..........

after breakfast and before lunch they were both under 8 so quite pleased


also have been really good for last few days so that shows :) :)

After two months of diet and exercise now between 4.4 - 5.0

11.8 @ 6.30am

Yesterday I was grazing late but it waslow carb stuff....hmmmm

Slept over 7-woke over 11
If sleep over 6 -wake over 10
So I would need to sleep about 2 to wake up about 6

Where is the point :-(

don't give up hope Claymic, that's lower than you have been getting :)

I try really hard not to eat anything at all after 9pm, and only stuff like celery after 6pm. Not sure it makes any difference, but it makes me feel like I'm trying!

8.5 this morning after eating hardly anything yesterday. My wife said, "let me test mine," - never done before and not diagnosed as diabetic and hers was 8. Should she be concerned?

I think you are right with not eating too late bit I can't possibly have my dinner before 6 pm as I would have just come in from work. yesterday I was having dinner about 8.30 and probably that is the average time for me

I know, it's ALL a compromise isn't it. Could you possibly have a slightly bigger lunch and a smaller evening meal?

7.1 this morning and as stayed at the 7.3/4 all day(4 further tests)

and 11.2 for me this morning :thumbdown:

can only put it down to 2 hot dog sausages (they were low carb) I had at 9pm last night, plus I had a bit of a lie in this morning. Other than that I ate nothing "bad" yesterday. Either that, or just one of those things!
