Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Thanks for the welcome. alliebee, Amazing knowledge base here. I always thought I was superman but I guess like many a bit delusional. Fact is being 40 ibs overweight is a fact, now I need to accept that and do something about it. It is a GREAT opportunity with all the help and support available to sort it hopefully!

A little high this morning 6 mmol despite going to bed last night at 5 mmol.
A six kilometer walk only brought my count down marginally to 5,8

Found this thread but not the piccie! Congratulations! Hope you enjoy all those cuddles! Hope you've all got iPads or Skype! Great way of communicating and seeing one another! Enjoy!
 
6.5 much as usual.dosent seem to matter what I eat,went out last night had curry nan bread rice and two glasses of wine.,the night before had very low carbs just meat and veg and the fasting reading was the same.
 
5.8 this am so had a good breakfast will walk to town which is about 1.5 miles then have lunch then walk again but have to take my mum to get some thermals today seeing as it is getting colder :(
 
6,6 two hours after breakfast of two eggs and bacon, so only 0,8 rise from pre prandial count.

They all seem comparatively high today. I have been spoilt with numbers in the fives and fours recently.

5.4 this morning- today is my 3 month HbA1c.......then Monday will be dn for results! Going to be interesting!!

Good luck Kimbo I'm sure you'll be fine! (If it was me I'd be on the phone or down reception tomorrow afternoon or Friday never mind wait over the weekend ;)).

6.1 here, better than yesterday anyway.

Still excellent numbers though, Pavlos. Don't beat yourself up, probably just a blip due to hidden stress or changing weather or similar.
