8.1 Again !!!!! Went to bed at 6.2

Nooooo!

If its any consolation Diana I can't do bullet coffee either. Sympathetic hug

Thank you and a sympathetic hug back to you! As it happens I'm quite enjoying the bulletproof coffee although not getting quite the results from it that other are. Will take @pavlosn's very wise advice advice and give things a little longer, although who these ladies are he refers to, I don't know! :D

Had a real bad day wih food yesterday
6.4 after dinner
5.8 fasting
Ordered chicken and it was just too sweet
Had to eat it with naan bread

No need to feel shame Diana.

That 6,1 bedtime count is the one you have control over and it shows that you did put in the work. Unfortunately too much about our morning fasting levels depends on factors over which we have little control over.

I must admit the idea of pouring oil in ones drink has been one I have found hard to accept and so I have never tried bulletproof coffee, I am not much of a coffee drinker at the best of times, so I do not know if that is responsible for the weight gain.

You may like to give it a bit more time before changing course though, weight can also vary for a number of reasons, particularly in you ladies. Do keep an eye on it though!

Pavlos

Thank you @pavlosn . I'm now more encouraged. Yes, the coffee is a strange concept but the combination does seem to work.

I hope you are enjoying your stay in the UK. I'm loving see your photos, and reading your posts again. Thank you

5.0 very restless night, practically no sleep again, but Sunday is weigh in day, another 2 lbs gone this week, 3st 4lbs disappeared since beginning of June, target only 3lbs away, increasing calories already let's see how it goes.

Thanks for the wishes, much appreciated, particularly from a Chelsea fan.

You do look like your going to be our most serious rivals for the title this year. Assuming we can pick up our form to actually put in a title bid that is.

Today's game is a one off, a "cup final" when irrespective of league position or form any result is possible.

I do hope we win, of course. It would be an awful long way to come just to watch us lose and it would be a bit of an anticlimax to what has do far been an excellent trip.

Defeat may be a bit hard to take for my eleven year old son.

So fingers crossed, it want come to that.

Pavlos
Pavlov, super to hear you are having a good time, even though I am an avid RED, a draw would be acceptable to me for a number of reasons. Continue to enjoy your trip and if we can assist with anything we are here in Manchester, Hazel Grove actually but only a few miles away.

Have a good day everyone.

Thank you John.

Really impressed with what we've seen of Manchester so far.

Even the weather has been kind.

Almost too ashamed to post this morning

6.1 at bedtime. 7.9 this morning and a 3lb weight gain in 3 days since dabbling with bulletproof coffee:bigtears:

I know some folk get away with not counting calories on the LCHF diet, but I've found that I still need to be careful with what I eat. That said , I'd be surprised if it's a genuine 3lb gain unless you've been mainlining cream and coconut oil.

No, I've been very virtuous this week and have had more time to do some home cooking of LCHF dishes and have also been able to increase my daily exercise. Fair point about the calories , thank you. At the start of the week I realised I was consuming between 300-400 too few daily hence the introduction of the coconut oil.

Many thanks for the helpful comment

How many calories a day are you aiming for? I seem to recall that you haven't a huge amount of weight to shift so it maybe that you don't need as many calories as you think? What about splitting the difference and just having an extra 150 cals a day? That said I can easily gain weight around certain times of month so it might be a bit of that too.

Its all the harder to bear when you have been so good too isn't it. I had the same experience of initial weight gain on the coffee. But it wasn't the coffee in the end it was just my body acclimatising to the rapid weight loss id been having...it did make me feel very spaced out though. Until @Brunnaria told me to use really posh coffee..that really worked..trouble is not feeling hungry till evening on it

Wow your all up so early this morning... I slept in to 10.30 :)
4.3 before bed (think I scared my BS watching scary moves last night)
5.9 fasting

Tried out a natural plain yoghurt this morn ewe it's not for Me, I've brought several other brands to try including a Greek yoghurt so hopefully I will find one I like,

@dianagrace its very upsetting when you have been so good and you don't get the result you deserve. But don't get disheartened it will all come right in the end.

Did you add some berries? Makes all the difference to the taste.

Yes I did, but it tasted life sour milk..... But it didn't go to waste my Dad popped round and he really enjoyed it lol. I bought quiet a few brands so hoping I will find one I can stomach

Do my own yogurt with the Easiyo system. Unsweetened natural yogurt is 5.5g carbs per 100g. Chuck in some berries and a pinch of Liz's granola at 51.4 per 100g. But only need a small amount

5.2 this morning for me. Had a fab afternoon at the pub gig ( many compliments too and questions about what I'm doing! Also got offered a date, but not quite to my taste!)
Had my sausages ready at home for dinner (and coleslaw!) But daughter met me to walk home and we randomly decided to pick up some kfc......I had three chicken strips added my luxury coleslaw, tried to keep calm about the results- I was 4.5 pre meal, 5.8 1hr and down to 5.1 2hrs!! Was a good test then!!
One thing though, I had three double vodkas and that was ample, I was due to go out again on the town later but just felt done- im the one who could easily have had 9 on a night out and been fine! So much has changed with me ; )
