Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Bit high this morning. 6.2, but last night consisted of some late night snacking. The doctor also commented that my morning fasting numbers may rise after stopping my Metformin. Had some free time this afternoon, made a short trip to one of our larger local parks. (-24C, with a -34 Wind Chill) Needless to say, didn't take my gloves much, just enough to snap a few pictures.

Beautiful pictures Marco, thanks for posting.

Beautiful pictures Marco, thanks for posting.

Thanks. Need to invest in a pair of gloves that have removable finger tip hoods. The -34C wind chill this afternoon had me wimping out after about 20 mins, and my hands remained in my mitts after that.

A 5,5 mmol for me this morning.

Now off to walk it down a bit!

7.3 bedtime
7.3 fasting

Fasting continues from midnight last night until I get back from this morning's ultra sound around 11am....

4.7 after a super Brunch yesterday with some of the family. Most probably had all my calories in one go, but all LC.
if anyone is about in Manchester for Sunday brunch can truly recommend Smoak nr Piccadilly Station.

Had a poor meal on my first visit, but the FREE brunch that was given to proves that it was an off meal 1st day and not their usual standard, their starters which are buffet style are excellent & for most of us there is plenty of good food.

Not cheap but at £24.95 for effectively 4 courses, good value.

Enough of my travelogue, time for work.

Keep well my friends, speak later.

5.3 before bed
7.4 on waking
10.4 before breakfast....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

5.7 again. I don't seem to have moved much beyond 5.5-5.8 all weekend, any circumstances.
