4.2 this morning. Kept down by the drink from last night I suspect as this is quite low for me.

7.8 this morning thankfully - not sure what was going on yesterday.. But my readings were in the 8s for most of the day. I still have this cold - it's been on and off for 3 weeks now - so maybe that's the culprit.

Anyway heading out to the shops early to hopefully beat the car parking rush...Looking to find something to wear on Christmas Day... I hate clothes shopping lol maybe when I loose some more weight I will start to enjoy it more.

Have a great day everyone

Very diplomatic ;-)
Not really.

I am a City fan so in a perfect world, I would like to see both teams lose. That's not possible, so a draw, by which both teams drop 2 points, is the next best thing. :-)lol

Hope, it's a good game to watch anyway!

3.9 for me today, so very much in my range.

Yesterday's eating was a bit chaotic; more in terms of timing than the actual food. During the morning and lunchtime I found myself stuck into rather a dirty job so deferred any prospect of eating until I had finished and showered. That then became a very late lunch, with the prospect of an early dinner, then dinner was shifted back a couple of hours to accommodate something else, so I grazed a bit in the late afternoon. Dinner was our standard Saturday night curry - lots of it for me, because I'd ended up somewhat hungry! I do really enjoy our Saturday curries.

Oh well. My other favourite meal today; Sunday Roast (even if we have roasts more frequently). Mr B makes a fab roast dinner. Bring on the crackling!

Have a fun Sunday everyone.

@pavlosn
Respect...On many occasions when it's not possible to do the usual mode of exercises I sometimes do a mini circuit training consisting of press up, squats, sit-ups and walking up and down the stairs for 30-40 minutes very effective at lowering bs when the weather not good outside.

Before I forget is anyone else on the Codefree batch of strips ending in 26 and exp August 2016? I'm finding they read consistently .5 higher than the current erratic batch ending in 72 than I'm on... and I've got another 4 pots to go!!

Oh dear, not another bad batch. Mine end in 72.

A warning

I had a chaotic evening with my strips last night. An hour after tea the reading was fine. Then I put the tub in my pocket whilst watching TV. At 2 hours I got them out to test, and the tub was really warm. Opened it and took a strip - also really warm. Took a reading and it was ridiculous! Took another, equally ridiculous. Took one with my Accu Chek - much more realistic. Left the tub to cool down and took another reading at 2.5hrs. Still ridiculous. At 3 hours it was reading the same as my Accu Chek. Clearly the tubs don't like being too warm in a pocket. Thank goodness I only have one strip left.

Interesting that you say that as I have been wondering if the cold can make them iffy- I don't have any heating in my bedroom and at the minute no curtains up or plaster on external walls( don't ask) and it's cold enough to see your breath when I wake up. Some mornings I've had some really stupid outliers so maybe it is this?
