I have similar experience, I didn't get that much variation with my accu check....so we get what we pay for otherwise how can you explain huge differential in price between costs of strips.?Oh dear, not another bad batch. Mine end in 72.
A warning
I had a chaotic evening with my strips last night. An hour after tea the reading was fine. Then I put the tub in my pocket whilst watching TV. At 2 hours I got them out to test, and the tub was really warm. Opened it and took a strip - also really warm. Took a reading and it was ridiculous! Took another, equally ridiculous. Took one with my Accu Chek - much more realistic. Left the tub to cool down and took another reading at 2.5hrs. Still ridiculous. At 3 hours it was reading the same as my Accu Chek. Clearly the tubs don't like being too warm in a pocket. Thank goodness I only have one strip left.
Unless he's a Chelsea fanVery diplomatic ;-)
Very impressive...how did it go down? Exercise?6.2 then full English brekkie then >2hrs 5.6
Like the result this morning alliebee....but not your absence here!! Hope you settle soon xLol yes it is. Thankyou. Not been on the forum much as my ms hasn't been so good
Interesting that you say that as I have been wondering if the cold can make them iffy- I don't have any heating in my bedroom and at the minute no curtains up or plaster on external walls( don't ask) and it's cold enough to see your breath when I wake up. Some mornings I've had some really stupid outliers so maybe it is this?

Slightly better sleep last night, woke at 4 ish but managed to settle until 6.30 then had a lay in.
I was 5.9 on waking properly at 6.30, high side for me for a long time ( just looked at pot and I end in 72 also so maybe I've got a "blip" aka bluetit? ! ) post breakfast 5.6

The storage instructions say between 2c and 32c. Perhaps try a thermometer in your bedroom?
I will bow to your greater experience. BT Accucheck price must be perceived quality then to justify the price. A bit like generic and original drug prices. My Accu chek cassettes are about the dearest on the market. The Codefree ones are the cheapest. There is no significant difference between the 2 when I check one against the other. They all have to pass the same accuracy checks in the UK of the plus or minus 15% and there seems to be little difference between any of them. But I agree, it does make you wonder why they are so cheap compared with the others.

My lowest ever since I started testing 11 months ago.
