It's amazing the things that we ignore or dismiss, that can start something like Fibromyalgia off.

Indeed. I think mine had been brewing for years as I'd get random aches and pains like a bad dose of flu for no reason, then I had really bad bout of migraines and so on..

Glad to hear that. Mine was caused by my accident, took nine years before anyone diagnosed it still.
The Israeli's did a lot of research on it, some years ago and found it could be caused by major trauma.
Lots of Dr's dismissed it for years as non existent, like they did with CFS.
Mine was post viral trigger tho I suspect looking back I had it to some extent for most of my adult life. Niggling things that didn't add up to even a doctors visit

76mg or 4,2 mmol/l.

Had to use a different meter today, so I do not know how much faith I have in this count.

It is unusually low for me but then again last night's dinner of just a bowl of celeriac soup was probably also unusually low in carbs

I don't test every morning but this morning it was 5.7 - which is within my usual range of between 5.4 and 6.0.

5.5 out of bed regrettably at 02.15 this morning, however a nice 6.1 2hrs after breakfast this morning.

Off to the mad house,

Have a good day all, keep well.

12.1 this morning, my first time with my new meter - a fasted test. I was diagnosed last Thursday, prescribed Metformin, and have been very diet conscious since. The 12.1 is disappointing as it's above the 11.5 the blood test the GP took that led to my diagnosis. Oh well, I guess it takes time for the meds and the lifestyle changes to take effect.

7.7 this am....feel as though I got a cold coming on ...I do hope not!!!

Can't correspond the numbers but you seem like me Ally. Highish in the a.m and then dropping. Keep at it :)

Mike
Me too Mike... I had a couple of low readings in the beginning.. but it doesn't seem to matter what I go to bed on.. I see to rise on a rise lol and then it spends all day lowering :)

7.8 for me this morning... unfortunately not testing before breakfast - as I forgot to pick up a new bottle of strips - and only have enough for an after breakfast test and before and after lunch.. grrrr

Dont know about anyone else, but this cold weather seems to make my poor pricked fingers her a little more...

5.8 after an average of 5.6 for the past fortnight.

5.2 today after going to bed on a 5 - I did sleep better last night overall too. Busy morning but will pop back later to catch up with you all here!
