Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

It's a take your pick day today... Got two at 6.1 so I'll take that. Where the 12.4 came from... Think I need one a soap like those plaque disclosing tablets as obviously my hands are never as clean as I think.

A steady 4.0 for me this morning.

I had such a great sleep last night, having not slept particularly well since Mr B decamped to Paradise last week. The world is so much better after a decent sleep.

5.3 after it being 7.8 last night 2 hours after dinner. 4.6 before dinner.I was very confused as to why it was 7.8 last night as I didn't have anything out of the ordinary. This morning I realised I hadn't taken any of my medication yesterday AM or PM.

That would explain it . Considering no meds at all, although a 3.2 rise, 7.8 was good

Spoke too soon I think... Woke with an appalling headache and my BG fasting has gone fron 4.9 the last few days to 6.8 today

Induction went well thank you! My levels haven't left the 5's all day.....and my exercise bike is now here! Yes, I've been on it already too!!

Thank you SJ... it has, in fact, cleared and I have been eating, it seems, all day! My sinuses are blocked a bit maybe... feel a bit stuffy... it's bound to take time... we had sand storms here for days, so maybe I got dust as well as all the other rubbish... I'm out for dinner tonight for the first time since Boxing Day - so looking forward to dressing nicely and eating something I don't have to cook... I hope your sinuses are improving too... It's so horrid... I felt so grubby all the time...

me too if I thought I had. Eating less meat these days anyhow. Rarely buy it but still have it if someone had cooked for me.

Ahhh, not good is it? Life overtakes you sometimes.. I have learned to keep a ziplock with nuts, 75% black chocolate and some BabyBels in my handbag or shopping bag... it's so difficult sometimes to stick to the plan.... Hope you get a chance to get something nice later...
