Phoned surgery to be advised all blood where normal, mentally danced around the office. Asked for a copy to be faxed over, was somewhat perplexed no HB that I could see, phoned surgery they have not got that one back. Deflated.
So restless weekend ahead waiting, good news is in May Alt/sgpt level was 83 now 28, cholesterol was high now normal, all bloods reading in normal ranges, hoping HB follows this trend.
As they say watch this space.
Blue I am very lucky with stress, thus far in my life it does not effect me, my attitude is always the same, if I can sort the cause of stress I sort it, if I can't what's the use or worrying.Apart from not having the HbA1c, this is excellent news for you. You have been messed about with these blood tests ..... not good for your stress levels.

Same here. Most things are like water off a duck's back to me. We are lucky.
June is a long time to wait for a change in medication. What can you do to make that sooner?Very interesting visit to the nurse specialist today. She had a read of the letter from the consultant which mentioned that I had asked about lchf and was advised against it. She just looked at me with a smile, and though I had resolved not to say anything, I fessed up and told her I had rebelled and been doing lchf for months. She then said that she had been doing low carb too! I told her all about Trudi Deakin' s change of view (she hadn't heard of her), and advised her to have a look at diet doctor, lol  She took great interest in what I was and wasn't eating, and how well I felt compared to before. She was pleased with my bg's generally, and not too concerned about my fasting, but just said to increase my pm dose of novamix to 56. I also asked her about Forxiga, and she said she had been thinking about that too as it would help with my weight loss and I could come off the Sitagliptin, and she is going to email my Consultant to prescribe it, as I won't see him until June. So, it's been a very positive and productive visit!

That's appalling, I know they are busy but there is no excuse for that. You should at least be given the opportunity to discuss your treatment and any concerns you may haveThat's good pavlos that dn is concerned. Mine was in a hurry just said keep doing whatever you are doing as it's working gave me a blood test form and asked me to come back in may with its result end of story, she also said if your next a1c is similar we will only see you once in a year. Thank you get lost. I hardly spent 2 minutes with her. Not that I was really looking forward to it.
