I am still eagerly awaiting for you to post your results :)
A comparison between 44 and 61 would be even better I guess

My comparisons between batch 61 and 44 have been interesting. Sometimes there is about a .4mmol/l difference and other times they have read virtually the same. This pot of 44 has been more consistent overall but I've had a run of strips that wouldn't read which makes the damaged in transit solution offered by SD BIosensor seem more plausible.

Hi Cold Ethyl,
I certainly think I had higher readings with batch 44, but some were consistent, and some were not, but once you have some doubt then it can get a little confusing on where your at.

I hope Home Health find the same and they can confirm what we all found on here.

Not sure how many people complained to them?
Neil

I forgot to post the actual test report on that thread. I've done it now.

I started on forxiga back in late June after a week of metformin that I couldn't tolerate, had expected nurse practitioner to swap me to the slow release but he gave me forxiga saying it was new, apart from a mild bout of thrush at the start I got on great with it, combined with strict lchf and exercise I got my hba1c from 61 to 53 in 6 weeks and to 38 in 18 weeks, by the I had lost over 3 stone. My GP advised in December to. Stop taking it in January given I had reduced to non-diabetic level, which I did. Hba1c last week was 39, given I'm meds free now I'm ok with that- total loss now just over 5 stone too.
That's really good news, well done. From what I've read on this forum most folks seem to have found it helpful, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

6.6 :bigtears: it was 7 after one hour.. didn't test again... Don't know why it's so high... had rare beef and homemade coleslaw for supper, with a thin slice of almond cake and a blob of CoYo... I must be breeding something this week I think... Trying not to let it affect me, I know it doesn't help...

Critically important that we take our health seriously........sometimes however we're too hard on ourselves.

Tomorrow is another day :-)

Well it looks to me like your doing all the right things, and your weight is coming down nicely which proves it. Just watch your portion sizes, I have a small plate which is just slightly bigger than a side plate, and I find it just the right size for me, but you are doing very well on that score. It will be easier to manage your bs as time goes on and your body gets used to your new lifestyle but those results aren't bad at all. Well done you're doing great.
