Not particularly surprised at a 7.6 this morning as I had a lot of cheese and nuts yesterday; a combination of a family get together and wanting to finish off some things before I restart my diet today. I haven't done any real exercise since returning from Thailand last Friday either. On Thursday next week I'm travelling again so my diet will be just 10 days. I get back 5 days after that and will restart my diet with the aim of reaching 11 stone (currently about 12 stone). I will be depressed if at 11 stone my BG levels haven't noticeably improved as for me 11 stone is going to feel quite extreme.

You'll be ok, I dropped from 12.5 stones to 11 stones no problem. However difficult trying to get 31in waist trousers......"Body looks great though"..........Sooooooory ego, vanity

A banana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope it's for the monkeys.
I hope there's no diabetic monkeys!
Of course its for the monkey! Nuts for me!

Mind you I am sure that a Googler will let us know shortly if there have been any diabetic monkies.

That's a bit like not being able to not lick your lips whilst having a donut ( in the old days). Do not Google diabetic monkey.....do not Google diabetic monkey....

Do not......

Oh go on then.

I wear Levis 32 inch relaxed fit jeans and 32 inch waist is definitely too big now!

Morning,

7.6 today.

Good Luck. Patsy.

Feeling tired today, (just fibromyalgia) so it is a struggle having the motivation to prepare food, but I will get on with it. Sausages in the oven at the moment, may have with mushrooms and tomatoes for a late breakfast.

I'm here! How nice to know I have been missed ...... thank you Kimbo. Just been a bit busy recently, but I'm fine and dandy.

5.6 at bedtime
5.2 this morning
Yay! Of course you were missed- I'm keeping different hours work wise for a couple of weeks...easter craziness in full swing here!

More likely to be a few seconds because of the oil in the nuts, surely?
No he was trying his interpretation of my 3 mins microwaved roast nuts.... but in a deeper container, so I'm not sure what was happening.:(

This morning 14.3

Prefer seeing your levels moving in opposite direction.

Çontinue watching the carbs as well as the portions.

As much as is possible test before and 2hrs after your first bite, so you know the effects of food types and portion sizes on your BS.

Again if it's possible try some exercise.

Single figures will come back soon.

Day 28 ND ( Tues.) 5.8 I am hoping that this number will go down again when I can get outside for my normal activities. There has been continual torrential downpour for two days, with no sign of abating. Lashing rain is flattening the vegetable garden and uncovering all the lurking zucchini.
Perhaps I am stir crazy, but no, that's porridge, isn't it? Too many carbs.

@Nuthead
Good to hear from you, it's been a while, how are you?
Hello. Nice to be missed. A few problems since the week before Xmas. Some being sorted and some not. One or two are work in progress. Symptoms and slide effects cross over so bit of a nightmare. Finished chemotherapy in August but still recovering and off work. Anyway off topic so sorry for that.
