7.4 this am and nothing to eat for me not till after the Endoscopy......:mask:

I'm still off track and in the fives.
Time to trim back the carbs I've been reintroducing to my diet.

5.6

7.1 better than yesterday..tho would prefer some consistency so then I maybe know where I'm going wrong / or right

But surely a pot ramekin dish is ok in the microwave?
The oil was extremely hot as was the dish!
I'd've thought so but if its partly unglazed at the bottom and that part got wet before you put it in, then the steam created within the pot could crack it.....

5.4 this morning... smoked trout, cream cheese and salad for breakfast in the hotel, then flight to Cyprus... more bubbles on the way
I am allergic to nuts coconut and dairy. I am OK with cooked meat and dairy alternatives in a morning but do like something warm
Good morning Lou... Have you tried the warm chia pudding? Brunneria posted a recipe for one made with boiling water and cacao or chocolate powder... How about the breakfast chocolate cake made with cacao - you could eat it warmed up with alpro yoghurt on it and a few raspberries? .... :) Is it the lactose in dairy that you are sensitive to? Would the lactose-free products suit you? They are so good and they even make lactose-free cream now... Left-over vg fried in butter with a slice of ham? It is the most difficult time of the day for sure if you can't eat eggs first thing... What about a warm microwave muffin spread with alpro spread and a teaspoon of jam? I'll put my thinking cap on if I get time later... I think I would have a steak and veg and then have breakfast for lunch or dinner!!

Just tried that with some cashews in almond oil.
3mins.
Stunk the kitchen out and cracked the ramikin pot!
More likely to be a few seconds because of the oil in the nuts, surely?
