Morning troops

6.5 fasting and 0.3 ketones. Going to be a long day in all senses of the word. Cauldron of coffee on the brew.

Seems quite sunny in London today.

Morning all:)
A rather stressed 8.2 for me this morning:(
Hubby is giving up smoking again ...... and to say he is horrid is an understatement !!!!:wacky:

Strange one this morning, it was 10.1 last night before I went to bed, then this morning it was 10.5. I am just wondering if it could be this meter, it went off yesterday and I had to remove the battery and put it back in again as I didn't have any batteries. My new meter should be here any day now so I will get better readings.

Morning all

Bit stricter yesterday - my wife had a bad night so we had to take it easy.

Still a slightly disappointing 5 8 this morning.

I guess it's a bit like losing weight this BG thing - dead easy to slip up and much harder to bring it back into line.

Plan is to revert to prawns pil pil and beer for lunch and leave the chilli and chips alone

OK - I never said it was a good plan :cat:

 :D

7.8 presented without self inflicted judgment.

While observing the seemingly miraculous process of the test strip draw my drop of sacrificial blood upward to saturate that square target, I am amazed that we live in an age with the science to employ such a sophisticated testing manner, but feel slighted that the scientists forgot to include Phase Two that makes it possible for the glucose meter to draw out the extra sugar, rendering all other therapies and treatments in diabetes management unnecessary.

Glad you're still here mate, noticed the abductions. .....

7.8 is nothing to be ashamed of as there are folk on here that would love to see that.

I understand the frustrations you and Moshe express but I also see the difficulties the mods have and I think the name and shame game thread is actually a great idea.

Dear all

This thread has now well and truly wandered off topic. It is much easier for people searching for information that is vital to them if we keep threads on topic. PMs have not succeeded in keeping the thread on topic and neither have edits and deletions. I have, therefore, locked the thread to enable those who wish to discuss particular issues to create threads accordingly or to join other threads that are discussing the topic that they wish to contribute to.

Regards.
