Hi,
I'm new so please forgive me if I'm repeating the quandary.
I'm type 2 and my last HBA1C (or whatever it's is) was 100 - this means nothing to me other than the doc said it was high and changed my meds to sitagliptin and sukkarto and said if it didn't come down I'd have to start injecting myself!
I have changed my diet accordingly but my BS readings are still high and consistently above 12.
What else can I do to bring my levels down?
Exercise is difficult due to mobility issues and I'm on strong painkillers combined with a load of other drugs for high blood pressure, cholesterol etc.
I also read somewhere that cortisol may affect readings - I'm constantly stressed as I live with and look after my 2 year old grandson.
I'm at a loss! Please help!
Thanks
