hi,

I have tried various ways of writing down my blood results on here to get some thoughts and advice, but the numbers all bunch up together when i post it.

i last tried typing it all in by hand on the post it page and it still bunched it all, which then makes it impossible to read.

please has anyone got any advice of how to over come this...thanks

The system doesn't allow multiple spaces, and also ignores tabs. As far as I know the only way if you're typing it by hand is to put a series of dots in to space out the columns as you want them. You can put a space each side of your figures so that they stand out better. Hope this works, and helps.

One way would be to take a screen shot of the table/spread sheet etc containing your info, save it as a jpeg and post the image to an image hosting site like photobucket and then post the url to the image into your post using the tags.

Irfanfiew is a free image viewer that has an easy to use screen capture feature, there are many other programs that will do this though, irfanview is just the program that I use, and photobucket accounts are free too.

If you want any help to sort this out pm me and ill try to give you a complete click by click walkthrough.

Another way to deal with the problem is for you to do your bg results as a word document and then print it out. If you have got a printer come scanner you can then use your computer to scan the word document and save it to your My Documents folder as a tif doc and then open the tif document up in Paint or other photo editing software and re save it as a jpeg doc. All you then have to do is type your message on the forum and then at the bottom of your message click on the link to do attachments. Find the scanned document in My Pictures and then upload it.

Do you know I'd never seen that before

Open you spread sheet or word doc
expand to fill the pc screen
Press Prt Sc (print screen) Button on your keyboard

Minimize your word program or spread sheet program Do not Close it
Open your paint program
Right clink mouse and past as new image ...You should have a copy of your screen as a picture
then save as whatever.jpg

Bottom of post reply page use upload attachment browse your pc to find whatever.jpg

Job done
