Uncontrollable MMol's

Suddenly, I can't get my mmol's below 10.

I am using a Freestyle Libre 2 blood sugar monitor, which I have used regularly in the past. I have checked its reading against the finger pricking monitor, and it confirmed the Libres reading.

From past usage, my readings seem sky-high, in the top teens after eating, and only down to low teens after a night's restless sleep.

Also having prostate problems, taking finasteride, which seems to be causing me to itch a lot....

Could this be affecting my blood sugars....?

Off to see the doc today I hope

you could also ask your pharmacist re the finasteride

I think you need to speak to a medical professional, as we can't diagnose here, but illness of any sort can raise bgs... (As can lots of other things...)
