Hello!
So tonight I went to bed around midnight with a blood sugar of 8.0. My CGM then marks that it went down to approximately 6.0 around 1am. Then, out of the blue, it spiked up to 16.1. I cannot find a reason for this... has this happened to anyone before?
The only reason I can come up with is that it is that time of the month...

Did you back up your 16.1mmol/l on your CGM with a finger prick test?

It's common for CGM's to drastically fall or rise if you lie on them or squash them somehow.

What was your BG when you woke?

How long did it take for that spike?

Normally only with a cannula swop or failure....
Or peanuts the evening or afternoon....

What did you eat for dinner, was it a heavy meal, creamy sauce, deep fat fried food? It could be slow digestion.
