upset tummy

Hiya

Up until fairly recently I avoided dairy and egg whites and gluten as I suffer the occasional bursts of ibs symptoms and these foods seem to trigger something. So as I've recently went low carb i have included some greek yogurt cheese and eggs again and I don't think the eggs in particular agree it just seems I don't know what to eat now other than meat veg and fish today im so bloated and feel full from last nights bedtime snack of Greek yogurt and flaxseed and small bit of dark choc with smear of peanut butter (had to have these as dinner didn't satisfy even though it put my bs up to 9 it was veg lasagne )

Hi. About every 2-3 weeks my tummy goes into overdrive. My doctor thinks it is the metformin and at his suggestion I just take "holiday tummy" anti diarrhoea tablets to settle it down. Aged 70, T2 for 20 years, bs 43.

Cool at the 2 hour mark it was down to 6.8 I would never of believed it ! Thanks for thr suggestion

Did you enjoy it? I find them delicious toasted, even with a salad. A half is enough for me.

I should add, they contain a lot of fibre - so be aware!

Lol thanks ! I think half should do nicely . I made a toasted cheese sandwich out of it in the George foreman grill it was delicious I'm glad I bought 3 will half then freeze some
