Hiya. I suffered pain for over a year in the lower pelvic area. Pain on lifting shopping bags, going for walks, even turning over in bed.
I made a decision to get the nurse to take out my coil thinking that could be the issue....it's not.
Doc sent me for a scan which was very thorough from the ovaries to my ribs.
Result was...we can't find anything.
But...you have a fatty liver!!!
I give up.
And the doc actually said " you have NAFLD ok" so I said what do I do bout that? " Lose weight" he said. That's all? Yes.
I use our rowing machine every second day, I also take Artichoke capsule from H& B.
Does anyone know what else I can do? I would be so grateful for any help.
God bless you all

My NAFLD was so bad it was supposed to kill me years ago. Going low carb sorted that though, liver function returned to normal, as did blood sugars. https://josekalsbeek.blogspot.com/2019/11/the-nutritional-thingy.html might help in that regard.Hiya. Oh, I see she already found this thread, I really should learn to refresh my page before posting.Tagging @JoKalsbeek for you, who got rid of her NAFLD (and her diabetes!) through low carb.
Thank you for your response I appreciate it.Do not give up. I would suggest going low carb instead.

For you, if you want to try that route, you'll need to be very careful because you're on insulin. If you currently have a carb heavy diet your insulin doses will have to be adjusted to a new way of eating or you'll go low.
Good luck!
What type of insulin(s) are you on?Thank you for the reply it's appreciated.
Ah so me not eating chips or bread often is why I get hypos!
I get it now, I need to lower the insulin as welloops
You may get something out of this Jason Fung video ( it's not too long or complicated). I get the impression that it's mainly the fructose that's the problem rather than the glucose so in your case the sugar in the biscuits rather the glucose that would come from the potatoes. You could try some intermittent fasting.I use our rowing machine every second day, I also take Artichoke capsule from H& B.

It can make it more difficult as it is a fat storage hormone too and does hinder fat burning but not impossible if the right amount is used. Varies like everything with a number of things influencing it including if you are insulin resistant (like most type 2 using it) , and if you’re eating rubbish or nutritious foods alongside it.Am I wrong here?
I always thought that if you are taking insulin then it's not possible to lose weight?
