VAT exemption on FreeStyleLibre2 sensor

Type 2 diabetic, not on insulin, but managed by tablets. Currently self-funding the purchase of FreeStyle2Libre sensors to try keep sugar levels in range. Trying to find out whether I can be exempt from VAT on purchasing the sensors and if so what is the process?

Yes you can. I do exactly that, if you order direct from Abbott there is a check box to claim your exemption.
