The whole story I thought 'redolent of rodent!' But perhaps such wonders do fall from heaven into the laps of those who know how to make a quick buck?I read this advertisement the other day. It sounds like a scam, surely to sell something as good as that is supposed to be it wouldn't need such a ridiculously long story to sell it.
I agree entirely - the longer the sales pitch, the more time they have to woffle on with pseudo science type jargon about their miraculous product without giving you any actual information, and the less likely it is to be genuine, IMO...I read this advertisement the other day. I'm curious. I purchased the book and resources yesterday. One important claim that resounded with me ( I actually listened to the entire long winded sales pitch while driving yesterday ) is the complete assault on our health and finances that the pharmaceutical industry has accomplished. The bigger challenge is not the cost but the actual discipline and dedication by those of us afflicted by diabetes. For example, a Fitbit doesn't make you more healthy...it's just a tool and a reminder. If having another reminder helps me be more mindful and responsible, I'm all for it. I want to be healthy. It cost me far more to let my doctor continue to dole out Metformin and now high blood pressure meds, and leaning toward statins because I'm "on the edge" of those conditions. If there are natural methods, I feel I have nothing to lose. I don't like how I feel on medication.
Once I've accomplished 30 or 45 days, I'll post some results...lost weight, BG, etc. Today my AC is 10.9 and my fasting BG was 220 and an average of 180 throughout the day.
How about others joining me to make this an informed and clinical forum? See you in about a month.

you posted that 16 weeks ago - any chance of an update?I'm curious. I purchased the book and resources yesterday. Week 2.Av readings over one day 7.8. Weight 144lbs, another loss of 2 lbs. Not sure if this is because I am being really careful about what I eat or because of the Vedda Diet itself. I am definitely occasionally cheating. The recipes included with the diet are very odd - all of them seem to have a cooking time of 3 to 4 hours. This does not work for me. Too many other commitments!
Try cooking with Instant Pot. I heard it's very easy to use and results are good. I'm going to get one.Week 2.Av readings over one day 7.8. Weight 144lbs, another loss of 2 lbs. I have ordered this book and read it online. It is too early to know if it works for me. I am 79 years of age and have an HBA1C reading of 49, which is controlled by dieting and exercise (walking). I am now taking coconut oil capsules and 2 spoonfuls of apple cider vinegar before meals. I also take statins and lisinopril as prescribed by the doctor. Some of the points raised are recommended by other people such as eating brown bread and rice, eating plenty of vegetables and fruit, avoiding canned and processed foods, cutting down on fried food etc.
I only have a 6 month blood test. However my cholesterol level is only 4.0 and my blood pressure reading is 126/64. I have to take it seriously as I am blind in the left eye due to an accident at 6 years of age. My good eye is examined once a year and is O.K.
I am confused by the information produced as my reading is based on UK readings and would be interested to hear the results of UK readers who have tried out this method and whether there is an improvement after one year.
