Hi, I'm new to the forum. I am very interested in the low carb diet and know it makes perfect sense. i also visit another low carb web site the about.com low carb diets page - not strictly for diabetics - for anyone who wants to do low carb.
I find that low-carb means high protein and that as a vegetarian it is much harder to follow a low-carb diet than an omnivore. A lot of the recipes for low carb vegetarian meals are a) not nice e.g. tasty b) made with ingredients which are nigh impossible to source in my small town.
Are there any more vegetarians on this forum and if so - have you any advice.
I'm type 2 and at present not on any medication. I hardly test my BS levels at all these days.
