Be very careful if you have a dog as chocolate is bad and xylitol is fatal.
Came across this the other day as I was browsing my shopping. Not tried it yet but as well as sugar free it's vegan ... I paid 99p each for the last 10 bars. RRP £2.95.... thought it was worth the risk being xylitol . .
I can't answer your question for that but it is low GI and believe it's OK for gluten free diets....Thank you for posting the recipes.
What can speltflour be substituted with?
Thank you for the heads up. I've got 4 German Shepherds, only one of which lives in the house. We rescue & rehome them so pretty well up on the goods & bads.Be very careful if you have a dog as chocolate is bad and xylitol is fatal.
Thanks for that. But I stay away from all grains low GI and gluten free. I feel much better with out. Even if it doesn't spike my BGI can't answer your question for that but it is low GI and believe it's OK for gluten free diets....
I'm always substituting things. If it works I do it again, if not was worth a try. I imagine you won't need as much coconut flour.....Thanks for that. But I stay away from all grains low GI and gluten free. I feel much better with out. Even if it doesn't spike my BG
I might try a bit of coconut flour and see.
I looked it up on Google and some suggestions are as little as a third coconut flour is needed to replace flour. I'll start with that and work my way up.I'm always substituting things. If it works I do it again, if not was worth a try. I imagine you won't need as much coconut flour.....
I don't have spelt flour so used soy flour. Chickpea flour would also work. I wouldn't use coconut flour as it tends to suck all the moisture out of other ingredients.Thank you for posting the recipes.

Ok thanks. I will pick up some chickpea flour. I think authentic falafel's use chickpea flour anyway.I don't have spelt flour so used soy flour. Chickpea flour would also work. I wouldn't use coconut flour as it tends to suck all the moisture out of other ingredients.

Red stuff (veg in herby tomato sauce) with mixed beans and chopped up sausages through it topped with mash. I used the Farmfoods Veggie Kitchen sausages (5.3g carb / 14g protein per 2 sausages)I need enlightenment please...... what's Cowboy Pie?

I think there are beans of some sort hiding beneath the mash!

I also had a melon-based smoothie in the afternoon, whilst basking in the sun
