Very low readings with gluco navii glucometer.

I bought a gluco navii to replace my code free machine a few weeks ago . Since I started using it my readings have been really low , fasting as low as 3.7! I have not had a fasting of that level in 28 years !
My latest hba1c was 42 in March , granted I have done mostly fasting blood sugars on it . Has anyone else had a problem with gluco navii under recording . I have been in contact with the provider who have been helpful but are insisting that the machine is right .
Any thoughts ?

Yeah, most wrong with 3.7, maybe a bit low but within normal levels.
I would test a couple of times pre meal, one hour and two hours, the same simple meal, same portion size, and then compare. You should get an idea of how it's working, the more times the more of an aggregate you should get!
But beware the odd rogue result. If you do, retest.
 
I tend to find the Navii runs a bit higher than other meters, but it does seem that different people find different meters run low or high.
 
Do you have a friend with a different meter or could you ask to try one out at your surgery @potty pet .

A (very long term) option is to take it with you next time you have blood work done, and compare against the lab results for your spot level (assuming they do one?)

I do find that meters vary a bit, though. My caresens definitely reads slightly higher than my freestyle lite used to.
 
Hi just got a gluco navii had accu check instant before last four readings on both meters tested one after the other had same readings on both meters hope this helps
